Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how TechTutorial.dev (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit https://techtutorial-web-dev.almamunhossains.workers.dev (the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to this policy and to our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Information we collect
- Newsletter signups. If you subscribe, we store your email address and the time of subscription to deliver updates and honor unsubscribe requests.
- Comments via Google Sign-In. If you comment on a post, we authenticate you through Google Sign-In and store the name, email address, avatar URL, and stable Google account identifier that Google provides to us. Your comment content is also stored and displayed publicly under your name.
- Server and request logs. Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) records standard access logs — including IP address, user-agent, referrer, and timestamps — for operational and security purposes. We use these to detect abuse and diagnose incidents.
- Local storage. The Site uses your browser’s
localStorageto remember whether you dismissed the newsletter prompt. Nothing in local storage is transmitted to us. - Embedded media. Articles may embed YouTube videos
served from
youtube-nocookie.com. When you load a page containing an embed, your browser contacts Google to fetch the video; their data practices apply.

under consent.youtube, or granted one-off without persistence.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Site and its content
- Send newsletters or updates if you have subscribed
- Authenticate commenters and display comments
- Respond to inquiries
- Operate infrastructure, prevent abuse, and protect security
- Comply with legal obligations
Service providers
We do not sell your personal information. We share limited data only with the providers we use to operate the Service:
- Cloudflare — hosting (Workers), database (D1), object storage (R2), session storage (Workers KV), and bot protection (Turnstile).
- Google — Sign-In for comment authentication, and
YouTube (via
youtube-nocookie.com) for embedded videos. - Cloudflare Email — transactional and newsletter messages are sent through the email sender bound to our Worker (welcome, unsubscribe confirmations, and broadcast newsletters), using addresses on our domain.
We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, or to protect the Service, our users, or the public.
Cookies
The Service uses an HTTP-only session cookie for Google Sign-In on comment submission. It holds an opaque session identifier and is essential for the comment feature to work — no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set by the Service itself.
Embedded YouTube videos are loaded from youtube-nocookie.com,
which does not set tracking cookies on first interaction. If you play a video, Google may then
set its own cookies in line with Google’s privacy policy.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, or to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the email below. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those messages.
Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
International visitors
If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our providers operate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
